Winter All-Wesco Teams 2.27.08 Fueled by 285-pound finalist Jake Anstett, the Everett Seagulls placed eighth in the 3A State Tourney 2.17.08 Double the fun for Everett: Everett capped a solid performance in the 3A tourney Saturday. Six of its seven state-meet qualifiers placed in the top eight of their respective weight divisions. Two of them, junior Cary Irwin and senior Zach Husman, both placed in the 152-pound bracket. Irwin was third and Husman was seventh. 2.17.08
In the 3A tourney, Everett has had another solid day. Six of the squad’s seven Mat Classic competitors have secured a spot in the top eight. 2.16.08  Everett among teams in Championships mix. 2.16.08 with the upper-echelon programs. As of 12.21.07 Washington Wrestling Report has ranked the Everett High Wrestling team 17th out of 20 teams! In November Everett wasn't even in the top 20. Each and everyone of you has helped this team move up in the rankings! Keep up all of your hard work and we could be in the top ten soon!!
